Maree Bowden brings a rare blend of elite athlete experience, mentoring, coaching, and connection to her role as a Personal Development Manager. As a former New Zealand international netballer, she doesn’t just support players - she gets it. Her contribution to people development is grounded in lived experience, enabling her to build strong relationships, challenge thinking, and support meaningful, practical growth.

With experience across elite-level netball, rugby environments, and international leadership mentoring in Japan, Maree supports professional players before, during, and after their transition out of sport. She brings a strong mix of empathy, lived understanding, and practical coaching to help athletes find clarity, direction, and identity beyond the game. Known for her humility and attentive listening, Maree supports players with quiet strength and deep understanding. Her influence is built through trust and connection, helping players move into the next chapter of life feeling grounded, prepared, and confident.

Maree holds a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning (Primary) from the University of Canterbury, a Graduate Certificate in Career Counselling for Elite Performers from Victoria University, Melbourne (in conjunction with the Australian Institute of Sport), and a Diploma in Positive Psychology from the Langley Institute.
