Tom Martin is a professional rugby player, industrial designer, entrepreneur, and in-house designer for the RPA, where he shapes modern visual communications through a player lens, bridging design and strategy across multiple projects.
Tom made his debut for Waikato Rugby in 2021. While sidelined with long-term injuries and after completing his degree in industrial design at Victoria University, he founded Shard Studios, where he developed and launched his first product - Vitool®, an 8-in-1 multi-tool for rugby and football players. At the RPA, his work spans web design, creative direction and brand development, delivering engaging resources tailored to professional players - including the design of The Rugby Club and RPA websites.
Based in Auckland, Tom operates at the intersection of sport and innovation and is driven by designing experiences that inspire, engage, and deliver meaningful impact.
